Get Stuffed All Day Long with Breakfast at Stooges

We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Unfortunately, you've never been able to start your day with Stooges—until now. We've got a new menu coming, and it goes way beyond burgers. We’re talking the biggest breakfast burrito you’ve ever seen, four kinds of stuffed French toast and Neapolitan ice cream-inspired pancakes, just to name a few.

Two pieces of avocado toast, one vegan one with egg

Joe and the kitchen crew are bringing the same creativity you know and love in our signature burgers, mac n' cheese and wings to breakfast. You’ll find everything from perfectly cooked eggs over corned beef hash or avocado toast to mimosa flights. We’ll also make sure everyone in your party can find something they love on the menu. Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast sandwich and good coffee, a celebration-worthy brunch or vegan options, we’ve got it.

Some restaurants only serve brunch on Sundays, but that's not enough for us. You'll be able to enjoy breakfast with us all weekend long—because this menu is too good for once a week. Every Saturday and Sunday, we’ll open at 8 am. Breakfast will be served from 8 to noon, when we’ll transition to the menu you already know and love.

We hope you’re excited to try our breakfast menu, because we can’t wait to serve you! Our first weekend of breakfast will be March 19th and 20th. See you there!

Here's Where to Get Dessert After a Meal at Stooges

No meal at Stooges is complete without a Twizzler. But we completely understand if that's not enough for your sweet tooth. That's why we're happy to recommend Lockport shops with everything from ice cream to cupcakes. If you still have room for dessert after that burger, check out one of these small businesses:

For Ice Cream

Just a couple of steps from our front door, you'll find creative (and tasty) homemade ice cream at Lake Effect Ice Cream. (Insider tip: If Steamworks is open, make your ice cream an affogato with a shot of espresso. 😍) You can't go wrong with a milkshake from Reid's—a true Lockport classic. For a cone of Perry's, head to RJ's, JoJo's, or Tasty Treat, which is conveniently located on Transit Road for anyone heading back to Buffalo after your stuffed burger fix.

For Cookies & Cakes

The newest addition to Lockport's dessert scene is Half Baked Cafe, which has a ton of different ooey-gooey cookie flavors. Tater Cakes and Oh Sugar! are both good options for cupcakes. Tater Cakes also has a rotating selection of very pretty pastries and macarons, and you'll find ice cream at Oh Sugar!

For Other Sweet Treats

You've heard us talk about our friends at Chenez's Popcorn before, and here we go again. They do have savory flavors, but we love their more dessert-ish options, including Peanut Butter Crunch and Caramel Cashew. If you're gluten-free (and even if you're not) head to Kith & Kin Bakeshop & Bistro for all things dessert with none of the gluten, with options including pastries, muffins, cake, cookies, and pies.

7 Things the Kitchen Crew Wants You to Know About Grilling this Summer

Summer is officially here and we know a lot of you are breaking out the grill (if you haven’t already). Our kitchen crew members are masters of the flat top and a lot of their tricks for great burgers will work at home too! If you’re looking for perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned burgers this summer, here’s what the crew suggests 👇🏼👇🏽👇🏾

Start with a clean grill.

This one is pretty easy! You don’t need to be a grillmaster to start with a clean grill. How you clean your grill will depend on what kind it is. If you’re not sure what the best way to clean your specific grill is, there are literally millions of videos on the internet about it.

Choose high-quality meat.

All of our meat is sourced from longtime Lockport favorite Scapelliti's. You can grab a few pounds there for your burgers at home too. There are plenty of other local options for high-quality meat as well!

Season your meat.

Starting with high-quality meat means it has great flavor of its own. You’ll still want to season your meat though! Don’t start off too strong; you can always add more seasoning later but there’s no going back once it’s on your meat. Too much seasoning might make your burgers taste salty.

Defrost your meat.

Sure, you can stick a frozen patty straight on the grill. But we don’t recommend it. Frozen meat will take a lot longer to cook, and there’s more of a chance that your burgers will be burnt on the outside and still frozen on the inside. 😬 To avoid this, defrost your meat and read the next two tips.

Keep a consistent temperature.

You’ll want to keep your grill at a consistent temperature so you’re cooking your meat evenly. This is a lot harder on a charcoal grill than a gas grill, but not impossible! It involves preheating your grill to the temperature you need (which depends on what you’re cooking) and keeping a close eye on it.

Use a meat thermometer.

If you’re an experienced griller (and eater 😆) you might not need a meat thermometer to tell when your meat is cooked. For newbies, a meat thermometer can make you feel more confident! Make sure you’re taking the temperature of the very middle of your meat, which will be the least done part. The temperature you’re looking for depends on how well done you like your burgers!

Be patient.

Good food takes time, no matter how you cook it. Grilling great burgers (or any other meat) takes patience. You’ll want to stay close to your grill to keep an eye on it. Don’t go overboard though! Opening your grill lets out the heat you need for a consistent temperature. Preserve the flavorful juices in your meat by flipping just once!

8 Burger Recommendations from the Stooges Crew

If you’ve ever wondered what your server’s favorite burger is but didn’t want to ask, this is for you! We sat down with four members of our Stooges crew to discover their go-to signature and build-your-own burgers. Thanks to their years of stuffed burger experience, both on-the-clock and on their days off, they know a thing or two about our menu.

Hopefully, their favorites will inspire you to try something new or get creative with our build-your-own options.

Jordan’s Favorites

If Jordan had to pick a go-to signature burger (which is NOT easy), she’d choose The Cuban. It’s a house-blend burger stuffed with—wait for it—smoked pulled pork, Dijon mustard, ham, dill pickle, and Swiss cheese. When Jordan makes her own masterpiece, she starts with the house blend and stuffs it with pickles, mushrooms, mozzarella and American cheeses, AND mac and cheese. She adds a little bacon-bourbon jam in there too for good measure. 💥

Savannah’s Favorites

Just like a lot of you, Savannah’s go-to burger on the menu is our Chicken Parm. It’s everything (and we mean everything) you love about chicken parm, from spaghetti in red sauce to mozzarella cheese, inside a golden brown breaded chicken burger. If Savannah is building her own burger, she stuffs a house blend burger with mozzarella, smoked gouda, mac and cheese, and bacon-bourbon jam. 😍

Liz’s Favorites

If Liz is sticking to the menu, she goes with The Larry, a house blend burger with peanut butter, fresh jalapeños, a jalapeño cream cheese, pepper berry jam, and bacon inside.

If you know Liz (and who doesn’t), you won’t be surprised that her build-your-own burger is a little ~extra~. You can only get her specialty creation when it’s on special as The Lizzo. It’s a chicken burger stuffed with banana-pepper mac and cheese, pepper-jack cheese, mozzarella, plus a few more banana peppers. Then, it’s tossed in spicy bread crumbs, before being deep fried and topped off with crushed red pepper aioli. 🔥

Paige’s Favorites

paige-trippin-tzatziki.jpg

Paige highly recommends the Trippin’ Tzatziki if you’re sticking to our signature burgers. It’s a chicken burger stuffed with marinated cucumbers, feta cheese, seasoned tomato slices, tzatziki, and thinly sliced purple onions before being served on a Father Sam’s pita. In a potentially surprising move, Paige suggests starting a build-your-own-burger with a veggie burger and filling it with mozzarella, spinach, and avocado—then topping it with an egg! 🍳

If these recommendations have you feeling ~inspired~ and you’re already planning your next trip to Stooges, check out our full menu for all of your options!
